Biscuits and Gravy

Ingredients 

Biscuits

1 cup milk (I use whole milk)

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar 

1/2 cup cold butter (cubed)

2 cups flour

 

Preheat oven to 450 

In a big mixing bowl put all dry ingredient in 

Grate butter in and mix until coated in the flour

Then add milk and mix with a fork until the dough comes together

Turn it out onto a floured surface and roll the dough out  

Fold the dough several times to create layers

Dough should be able an inch thick

Repeat the steps of rolling folding and cutting until you've used all the dough. 

Place biscuits on a greased cookie sheet and bake for about 15 mins. 

 

 

Sausage Gravy

2 cups of whole milk

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1lb breakfast sausage 

1/4 cup flour

 

Brown the sausage 

Add flour to browned sausage and cook for one minute

Add garlic powder 

Stir in the milk

Stir until the gravy starts to thicken

Add salt and pepper to taste

Parmesan Scrambled Eggs with Crispy Prosciutto

Ingredients 

2 large eggs

1/2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp sour cream

1/8  cup parmesan reggiano cheese

2 slices of prosciutto

pinch of salt and pepper 

pinch of garlic powder (optional)

 

Directions

First you want to fry you prosciutto in a pan until slightly brown. Remove from the pan and set aside for later.

In a bowl whisk  together eggs, sour cream, garlic powder, salt and pepper

Next in a small egg pan, melt butter then pour eggs in. Cook over low to medium heat

Once eggs start to cook scramble add the cheese and cook until they are the consistency you like. 

Remove from the pan and top with prosciutto, you can crumble it or break it into pieces then add a sprinkle of cheese and parsley.

The Best Pancakes

Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 cup powdered sugar 

4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups milk

1 stick melted butter

2 eggs beaten 

1 tsp vanilla (optional) 

 

Directions

Combine wet ingredients and then slowly add your dry ingredients.

Cook in a pan with butter over med to low heat until you see little bubbles. Once you see this its time to flip them. When pancakes are a nice golden brown, remove them from the pan and top with butter and syrup. 

 

 

Cinnamon Brioche French Toast

6 pieces of brioche bread

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1tbsp sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsps butter

 

Mix all ingredients then dip bread coating both sides

 

In a cast iron skillet add butter

 

Cook bread on medium heat until both sides are golden brown. About 1 minute each side.

 

Once finished remove from the pan and dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
